Nidoran-M is here! This extraordinary Pokémon is Poison-typed and ready to shine! Nidoran-M is not a Pokémon anyone usually expects to see on the battlefield. In the LC tier (Little Cup), it's a fierce competitor. Its only type-related weaknesses are Ground and Psychic. Want to master Nidoran-M's movesets? Dive into our detailed strategies below!
Nidoran is a fabulous Physical Sweeper. It's primary goal is to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. Focus Sash helps protect Nidoran from being one-shotted and allowing it to atleast use a crucial move when brought out. Life Orb boosts the power of Nidoran's damaging moves by 1.3x but it then loses 1/10 its max HP immediately after the attack. Wide Lens will help improve the accuracy of Nidoran's moves. This is important since it's Hustle ability lowers the accuracy of it's moves. With Hustle, Nidoran's attack is 1.5x and accuracy of its physical attacks is 0.8x. Shadow Claw was added to provide additional threat coverage.
♦ Shadow Claw is a physical 70-base power Ghost-type move (high critical hit ratio). ♦ Double-Edge is a physical 120-base power Normal-type move (has 33% recoil). ♦ Head Smash is a physical 150-base power Rock-type move (has 1/2 recoil). ♦ Drill Run is a physical 80-base power Ground-type move (high critical hit ratio). ♦ Poison Jab is a physical STAB-boosted 80-base power Poison-type move (30% chance to poison the target). ♦ Poison Tail is a physical STAB-boosted 50-base power Poison-type move (high critical hit ratio. 10% chance to poison). ♦ Sucker Punch is a physical priority-increased 80-base power Dark-type move (usually goes first. fails if target is not attacking).
