Armaldo is popular Physical Sweeper for single battles. This moveset attempts to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. The Shell Bell item option is to help Armaldo recover from the recoil damage it may take from Double-Edge. With Swift Swim, Armaldo's speed is doubled during rainy weather. With a Eject Pack equipped to it, if Armaldo's stat stages are lowered, it switches to a chosen ally then the Eject Pack gets consumed.

Armaldo is popular Physical Tank for single battles. It attempts to take a great amount of physical hits while dealing some decent damage. With Battle Armor, Armaldo cannot be struck by a critical hit. With a Red Card equipped to it, if Armaldo survives a hit, attacker is forced to switch to a random ally then the Red Card gets consumed.
