For those intense single battles, Aron is a superb Physical Sweeper. This approach seeks to take down the opponent's team with heavy-hitting physical attacks. Air Balloon makes the holder ungrounded, which means Aron is immune to Ground-type moves until the balloon pops when hit by a damaging move. With Sturdy, if Aron is at full hp it survives one hit with at least 1 hp. Immune to ohko. With a Chople Berry equipped to it, halves damage taken from a supereffective fighting-type attack then the Chople Berry gets consumed.

Aron stands out as an interesting Support in single battles. With Sturdy, if Aron is at full hp it survives one hit with at least 1 hp. Immune to ohko. Breed Aron and keep it at Level 1. For this to work properly it's a good idea to setup a Sandstorm ahead of time (preferably with Tyranitar or Hippowdon are favorable choices). The Shell Bell will fully heal Aron each time it attacks hereby resetting it's Sturdy ability for the next OHKO attempt.
