Double Wall Dragonair (Popular/Trending)
Dragonair is an extraordinary Double Wall for single battles. It's goal is to have enough defenses and bulk to take both physical and special hits. Dragonair is not a Pokemon anyone usually expects sees on the battlefield until equipping Eviolite became the goto option. If Eviolite is held by a Pokémon that is not fully evolved, it will raises the Defense and Special Defense of that Pokemon by 50%. With Shed Skin, Dragonair has a 33% chance to have its status cured at the end of each turn.

With Marvel Scale, if Dragonair has a non-volatile status condition its defense is multiplied by 1.5. Facade's damage doubles when the user has a status affliction. Combine that with Marvel Scale to seriously give Dragonair a sweet boost.

Dragonair is an outstanding Special Sweeper for single battles. It's primary goal is to take down the opponent's team with high-damaging special attacks. Flame Orb will burn Dragonair at the end of the turn which will activate Dragonair's Marvel Scale ability. Use Detect or Protect to help guarantee the Orb activates on your first turn. With Marvel Scale, if Dragonair has a non-volatile status condition its defense is multiplied by 1.5. With a Eject Pack equipped to it, if Dragonair's stat stages are lowered, it switches to a chosen ally then the Eject Pack gets consumed.
◆ Dragon Pulse is a special STAB-boosted 85-base power Dragon-type move that deals a decent amount of damage.
◆ Flamethrower is a special 90-base power Fire-type move (10% chance to burn the target).

Dragonair Special Wall (Sleeping Dragon)
Dragonair is an interesting Special Wall for single battles. It was designed to take a nice amount of hits from special attacks while dealing some decent damage. Dragonair is not a Pokemon anyone usually expects sees on the battlefield until Eviolite was equipped. If Eviolite is held by a Pokémon that is not fully evolved, it will raises the Defense and Special Defense of that Pokemon by 50%. With Marvel Scale, if Dragonair has a non-volatile status condition its defense is multiplied by 1.5. This is my favorite wall to use in lower tiers. Marvel Scale activates via Rest, so the defence goes up, making a physical and special wall. Outrage lasts once and deals massive damage without the confusion. Dragon Tail could still work in this set due to Sleep Talk negating its negative priority and switching out a slower opponent before they can move.
◆ Outrage is a physical STAB-boosted 120-base power Dragon-type move (lasts 2-3 turns. Confuses your Dragonair afterwards).
◆ Aqua Tail is a physical 90-base power Water-type move that deals a good amount of damage.
◆ Iron Tail is a physical 100-base power Steel-type move (30% chance to lower the target's defense by 1 stage).
◆ Sleep Talk is a status move (Dragonair must be asleep. Uses another known move).
◆ Rest is a status move (Dragonair sleeps 2 turns and restores hp and status).
