Giratina is a fabulous Ghost and Dragon-typed Pokemon. It's a normal sight to see Giratina out in the 8th generation battlefield. Giratina is considered strong enough to compete with Uber tiered Pokemon. Giratina is weak to Dark, Dragon, Fairy, Ghost, and Ice-typed attacks.

Physical Sweeper Giratina-Origin (Levitate)
Giratina is a legendary Physical Sweeper for single battles. It is designed to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. Choice Band will increase the damage of Giratina's physical moves by 1.5x at the cost of locking you into the first move you pick. Life Orb boosts the power of Giratina's damaging moves by 1.3x but it then loses 1/10 its max HP immediately after the attack. With Levitate, Giratina is immune to damaging Ground-typed moves (except Thousand Arrows). Levitate also makes Giratina unaffected by the effects of Spikes, Arena Trap, Toxic Spikes, Sticky Web, Rototiller or terrain effects. Keep in mind that Ingrain, Gravity, Smack down and the Iron ball item will nullify Levitate's effect.

With Levitate, Giratina is immune to damaging Ground-typed moves (except Thousand Arrows). Levitate also makes Giratina unaffected by the effects of Spikes, Arena Trap, Toxic Spikes, Sticky Web, Rototiller or terrain effects. Keep in mind that Ingrain, Gravity, Smack down and the Iron ball item will nullify Levitate's effect. With a Eject Pack equipped to it, if Giratina's stat stages are lowered, it switches to a chosen ally then the Eject Pack gets consumed.

It's meant to take a large amount of physical hits while dealing some decent damage. With Levitate, Giratina is immune to damaging Ground-typed moves (except Thousand Arrows). Levitate also makes Giratina unaffected by the effects of Spikes, Arena Trap, Toxic Spikes, Sticky Web, Rototiller or terrain effects. Keep in mind that Ingrain, Gravity, Smack down and the Iron ball item will nullify Levitate's effect. With a Griseous Orb equipped to it, if held by a giratina, its ghost- and dragon-type attacks have 1.2x power.
◆ Shadow Force is a physical STAB-boosted 120-base power Ghost-type move (disappears turn 1. Hits turn 2. Breaks protection).
◆ Shadow Sneak is a physical STAB-boosted priority-increased 40-base power Ghost-type move (usually goes first).
