Tyranitar is a fabulous Rock and Dark-typed Pokemon. Tyranitar is a pretty standard Pokemon to see in Generation 8. Tyranitar is weak to Bug, Fairy, Fighting, Grass, Ground, Steel, and Water-typed attacks.

Physical Sweeper Tyranitar-Mega (Sand Stream)
Tyranitar is a fabulous Physical Sweeper for single battles. It attempts to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. Sand Stream changes the weather to a Sandstorm when Tyranitar is sent out onto the field. This damages all Pokemon every turn while the Sandstorm remains active unless they are Rock-, Steel- or Ground-typed. Sandstorm also raises the Special Defense of all Rock-type Pokémon by 50%. Rock Slide or Earthquake are added to provide additional threat coverage. With a Tyranitarite equipped to it, if held by a tyranitar, this item allows it to mega evolve in battle.
◆ Foul Play is a physical STAB-boosted 95-base power Dark-type move (uses target's attack stat in damage calculation).
◆ Rock Slide is a physical STAB-boosted 75-base power Rock-type move (30% chance to make the foes flinch).
◆ Earthquake is a physical 100-base power Ground-type move (hits adjacent pokemon).
◆ Outrage is a physical 120-base power Dragon-type move (lasts 2-3 turns. Confuses your Tyranitar afterwards).
◆ Superpower is a physical 120-base power Fighting-type move (lowers your Tyranitar's attack and defense by 1 stage).

Tyranitar is a spectacular Physical Sweeper for double battles. It's primary goal is to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. This damages all Pokemon every turn while the Sandstorm remains active unless they are Rock-, Steel- or Ground-typed. Sandstorm also raises the Special Defense of all Rock-type Pokémon by 50%.
