Tyrunt is a remarkable Physical Sweeper for single battles. It's goal is to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. Choice Band will increase the damage of Tyrunt's physical moves by 1.5x at the cost of locking you into the first move you pick. With Strong Jaw, Tyrunt's bite-based attacks have 1.5x power. Bug bite is not boosted. With a Eject Pack equipped to it, if Tyrunt's stat stages are lowered, it switches to a chosen ally then the Eject Pack gets consumed.
◆ Outrage is a physical STAB-boosted 120-base power Dragon-type move (lasts 2-3 turns. Confuses your Tyrunt afterwards). ◆ Dragon Claw is a physical STAB-boosted 80-base power Dragon-type move that deals a decent amount of damage. ◆ Psychic Fangs is a physical 85-base power Psychic-type move (destroys screens, unless the target is immune). ◆ Crunch is a physical 80-base power Dark-type move (20% chance to lower the target's defense by 1 stage). ◆ Close Combat is a physical 120-base power Fighting-type move (lowers your Tyrunt's defense and special defense by 1 stage).

Life Orb boosts the power of Tyrunt's damaging moves by 1.3x but it then loses 1/10 its max HP immediately after the attack. With Strong Jaw, Tyrunt's bite-based attacks have 1.5x power. Bug bite is not boosted.
