What is a good competitive moveset for Uxie? These builds have been optimized for Pokemon competing in Sword/Shield Single Battles. The movesets and EVs have been specifically calibrated to deal the most amount of damage to the largest group of potentially common opponents and typing threats for the Sword/Shield generation metagame.
Uxie is a phenomenal Psychic-typed Pokemon. It's pretty regular to find yourself dealing with Uxie when battling in the 8th generation meta. Uxie is weak to Bug, Dark, and Ghost-typed attacks.

Double Wall Uxie (Popular/Trending)
Uxie is a legendary Double Wall. It was designed to have enough defenses and bulk to take both physical and special hits. Leftovers are always a great recovery option to ensure Uxie last longer regaining it's it's health every turn. With Levitate, Uxie is immune to ground; gravity/ingrain/smack down/iron ball nullify it.
♦ Imprison is a status move (no foe can use any move known by your Uxie).
♦ Trick Room is a status move (goes last. for 5 turns, turn order is reversed).
♦ Yawn is a status move (puts the target to sleep after 1 turn).

Choice Band will increase the damage of Uxie's physical moves by 1.5x at the cost of locking you into the first move you pick. Life Orb boosts the power of Uxie's damaging moves by 1.3x but it then loses 1/10 its max HP immediately after the attack. With Levitate, Uxie is immune to ground; gravity/ingrain/smack down/iron ball nullify it.

Its excellent Defenses and Speed make it the ideal choice for nearly all the sun and rain offense teams. Plus it has access to access to U-turn and Memento which can give free switch-ins for Uxie's teammates.
