Looking for a competitive moveset for Gible? These builds are optimized for X/Y Single Battles. The movesets and EVs are designed to maximize damage against common opponents and threats in the X/Y metagame. Check out the expert movesets below to boost your battle performance and dominate your opponents!
Gible is here! This extraordinary Pokémon is Dragon and Ground-typed and ready to shine! Gible is not a Pokémon anyone usually expects to see on the battlefield. It can be quite a contender in the LC tier (Little Cup). It is weak to Dragon, Fairy, and Ice-typed attacks. Discover how Gible excels in battles with the movesets provided below.
In single battles, Gible is known as an exquisite Physical Sweeper. The purpose of this moveset is to take down the opponent's team with lethal physical moves. The Shell Bell item option is to help Gible recover from the recoil damage it may take from Double-Edge. With Sand Veil, if sandstorm is active Gible's evasiveness is 1.25x; immunity to sandstorm. With a Yache Berry equipped to it, halves damage taken from a supereffective ice-type attack then the Yache Berry gets consumed.
◆ Outrage is a physical STAB-boosted 120-base power Dragon-type move (lasts 2-3 turns. Confuses your Gible afterwards). ◆ Dragon Claw is a physical STAB-boosted 80-base power Dragon-type move that deals a large amount of damage. ◆ Earthquake is a physical STAB-boosted 100-base power Ground-type move (hits adjacent pokemon). ◆ Bulldoze is a physical STAB-boosted 60-base power Ground-type move (100% chance lower adjacent Pokemon speed by 1 stage). ◆ Double-Edge is a physical 120-base power Normal-type move (has 33% recoil). ◆ Return is a physical 0-base power Normal-type move (max 102 power at maximum happiness). ◆ Shadow Claw is a physical 70-base power Ghost-type move (high critical hit ratio).

It is simply calculated using typing weaknesses and resistances from the selected type-matchup modifier along with STAB (if applied) to help sort through and give a general idea as to how powerful certain moves might be towards that selected typing after modifiers are applied. Several moves listed here may have additional effects that might alter actual damage output which are not factored on this specific list. Use damage calculators to find actual damage amounts.
