Get hyped for Rufflet, a fabulous Pokémon with Normal and Flying typing! Rufflet is not a Pokémon anyone usually expects to see on the battlefield. In the LC tier (Little Cup), it's a fierce competitor. It is weak to Electric, Ice, and Rock-typed attacks. Curious about Rufflet's movesets? Check our suggestions listed below!
Species: Rufflet Item: Life Orb / Shell Bell Ability: Sheer Force Nature: Adamant (+Atk, -SpA) EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Moveset: - Brave Bird / Sky Drop - Return / Slash - Superpower - Shadow Claw
Physical Sweeper Rufflet (Sheer Force)
Rufflet makes an an incredible Physical Sweeper in single battles. It is meant to crush rivals using formidable physical moves. Life Orb boosts the power of Rufflet's damaging moves by 1.3x but it then loses 1/10 its max HP immediately after the attack. However, Sheer Force negates the recoil damage from Life Orb while still increasing the damage from both it's ability and the orb making it an amazing item for Rufflet. The Shell Bell item option is to help Rufflet recover from the recoil damage it may take from Brave Bird. With Sheer Force, Rufflet's attacks with secondary effects have 1.3x power; nullifies the effects.
◆ Brave Bird is a physical STAB-boosted 120-base power Flying-type move (has 33% recoil). ◆ Sky Drop is a physical STAB-boosted 60-base power Flying-type move (Rufflet and foe fly up turn 1. Damages on turn 2). ◆ Return is a physical STAB-boosted 0-base power Normal-type move (max 102 power at maximum happiness). ◆ Slash is a physical STAB-boosted 70-base power Normal-type move (high critical hit ratio). ◆ Superpower is a physical 120-base power Fighting-type move (lowers your Rufflet's attack and defense by 1 stage). ◆ Shadow Claw is a physical 70-base power Ghost-type move (high critical hit ratio).

Several moves listed here may have additional effects that might alter actual damage output which are not factored on this specific list. Use damage calculators to find actual damage amounts.
