What is a good competitive moveset for Geodude? These builds have been optimized for Pokemon competing in Black/White Single Battles. The movesets and EVs have been specifically calibrated to deal the most amount of damage to the largest group of potentially common opponents and typing threats for the Black/White generation metagame.
Geodude is a remarkable Rock and Ground-typed Pokemon. Geodude is not a Pokemon anyone usually expects sees on the battlefield. Geodude can be quite a contender in the LC tier (Little Cup). Geodude is weak to Fighting, Grass, Ground, Ice, Steel, and Water-typed attacks.

Physical Sweeper Geodude (Rock Head)
Geodude is pretty popular Physical Sweeper. It tries to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. Geodude is not a Pokemon anyone usually expects sees on the battlefield but Eviolite changes that. If Eviolite is held by a Pokémon that is not fully evolved, it will raises the Defense and Special Defense of that Pokemon by 50%. White Herb will reset Geodude's negative stat changes once (specifically for when it uses Superpower). Focus Sash helps protect Geodude from being one-shotted and allowing it to atleast use a crucial move when brought out. Life Orb boosts the power of Geodude's damaging moves by 1.3x but it then loses 1/10 its max HP immediately after the attack. With Rock Head, Geodude does not take recoil damage besides struggle/life orb/crash damage. Thunder Punch was added to provide additional threat coverage.
♦ Bulldoze is a physical STAB-boosted 60-base power Ground-type move (100% chance lower adjacent pkmn speed by 1 stage).
♦ Thunder Punch is a physical 75-base power Electric-type move (10% chance to paralyze the target).
♦ Double-Edge is a physical 120-base power Normal-type move (has 33% recoil).
♦ Superpower is a physical 120-base power Fighting-type move (lowers your Geodude's attack and defense by 1 stage).
♦ Hammer Arm is a physical 100-base power Fighting-type move (lowers your Geodude's speed by 1 stage).
♦ Rock Slide is a physical STAB-boosted 75-base power Rock-type move (30% chance to flinch the foes).
♦ Smack Down is a physical STAB-boosted 50-base power Rock-type move (removes the target's ground immunity).

Geodude Special Wall (Dude!!!)
Geodude is an extraordinary Special Wall. It is designed to take a good amount of hits from special attacks while dealing some decent damage. Geodude is not a Pokemon anyone usually expects sees on the battlefield but Eviolite makes it possibly stronger than it's final form. If Eviolite is held by a Pokémon that is not fully evolved, it will raises the Defense and Special Defense of that Pokemon by 50%. With Sturdy, if Geodude is at full hp it survives one hit with at least 1 hp. immune to ohko.
♦ Sleep Talk is a status move (Geodude must be asleep. uses another known move).
♦ Rest is a status move (Geodude sleeps 2 turns and restores hp and status).
♦ Fire Punch is a physical 75-base power Fire-type move (10% chance to burn the target).
