What is a good competitive moveset for Skorupi? These builds have been optimized for Pokemon competing in Black/White Single Battles. The movesets and EVs have been specifically calibrated to deal the most amount of damage to the largest group of potentially common opponents and typing threats for the Black/White generation metagame.
Skorupi is an outstanding Poison and Bug-typed Pokemon. Skorupi is not a Pokemon anyone usually expects sees on the battlefield. Skorupi can be quite a contender in the LC tier (Little Cup). Skorupi is weak to Fire, Flying, Psychic, and Rock-typed attacks.

EVs: 4 Hp / 252 Atk / 252 Spe

Physical Sweeper Skorupi (Sniper)
Skorupi is an outstanding Physical Sweeper. This moveset is designed to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. Skorupi is not a Pokemon anyone usually expects sees on the battlefield but Eviolite changes that. If Eviolite is held by a Pokémon that is not fully evolved, it will raises the Defense and Special Defense of that Pokemon by 50%. Scope Lens/Razor Claw increases Skorupi critical hit ratio by 1 stage and combined with Skorupi's Sniper ability will increase the amount of damage done by those critial hits. Focus Sash helps protect Skorupi from being one-shotted and allowing it to atleast use a crucial move when brought out. Life Orb boosts the power of Skorupi's damaging moves by 1.3x but it then loses 1/10 its max HP immediately after the attack. With Sniper, if Skorupi strikes with a critical hit the damage is multiplied by 1.5. Crunch or Brick Break are added to provide additional threat coverage.

♦ Poison Jab is a physical STAB-boosted 80-base power Poison-type move (30% chance to poison the target).
♦ Cross Poison is a physical STAB-boosted 70-base power Poison-type move (high critical hit ratio. 10% chance to poison).
♦ Crunch is a physical 80-base power Dark-type move (20% chance to lower the target's defense by 1 stage).
♦ Brick Break is a physical 75-base power Fighting-type move (destroys screens, unless the target is immune).
♦ Aqua Tail is a physical 90-base power Water-type move that deals a hefty amount of damage.
