Meet Starly, the incredible Pokémon of Normal and Flying types! Starly is not a Pokémon anyone usually expects to see on the battlefield. It can be quite a contender in the LC tier (Little Cup). It is weak to Electric, Ice, and Rock-typed attacks. Explore the movesets of Starly below to understand its battle capabilities.
Starly is a decent Physical Sweeper. It's goal is to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. Focus Sash helps protect Starly from being one-shotted and allowing it to atleast use a crucial move when brought out. Life Orb boosts the power of Starly's damaging moves by 1.3x but it then loses 1/10 its max HP immediately after the attack. With Keen Eye, prevents other pokemon from lowering Starly's accuracy stat stage.
♦ Double-Edge is a physical STAB-boosted 120-base power Normal-type move (has 33% recoil). ♦ Frustration is a physical STAB-boosted 0-base power Normal-type move (max 102 power at minimum happiness). ♦ Brave Bird is a physical STAB-boosted 120-base power Flying-type move (has 33% recoil). ♦ Pluck is a physical STAB-boosted 60-base power Flying-type move (Starly steals and eats the target's berry). ♦ U-turn is a physical 70-base power Bug-type move (Starly switches out after damaging the target). ♦ Steel Wing is a physical 70-base power Steel-type move (10% chance to raise your Starly's defense by 1 stage).

Note: The damage listed here under Versus is not actually calculated using the in-game damage formula. It is simply calculated using typing weaknesses and resistances from the selected type-matchup modifier along with STAB (if applied) to help sort through and give a general idea as to how powerful certain moves might be towards that selected typing after modifiers are applied. Several moves listed here may have additional effects that might alter actual damage output which are not factored on this specific list. Use damage calculators to find actual damage amounts.
