Starly is an interesting Normal and Flying-typed Pokemon. Starly is not a Pokemon anyone usually expects sees on the battlefield. Starly can be quite a contender in the LC tier (Little Cup). Starly is weak to Electric, Ice, and Rock-typed attacks.

Physical Sweeper Starly
Starly is a decent Physical Sweeper. It's goal is to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. Focus Sash helps protect Starly from being one-shotted and allowing it to atleast use a crucial move when brought out. Life Orb boosts the power of Starly's damaging moves by 1.3x but it then loses 1/10 its max HP immediately after the attack. With Keen Eye, prevents other pokemon from lowering Starly's accuracy stat stage.
♦ Frustration is a physical STAB-boosted 0-base power Normal-type move (max 102 power at minimum happiness).
♦ Brave Bird is a physical STAB-boosted 120-base power Flying-type move (has 33% recoil).
♦ Pluck is a physical STAB-boosted 60-base power Flying-type move (Starly steals and eats the target's berry).
♦ U-turn is a physical 70-base power Bug-type move (Starly switches out after damaging the target).
