If Eviolite is held by a Pokémon that is not fully evolved, it will raises the Defense and Special Defense of that Pokemon by 50%. Focus Sash helps protect Ledyba from being one-shotted and allowing it to atleast use a crucial move when brought out. With Swarm, at 1/3 or less of its max hp Ledyba's bug-type attacks have 1.5x power.
