Physical Sweeper Cubone (Retro)
Cubone is an awesome Physical Sweeper in single battles. This moveset attempts to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. Gen1 meta was a totally different monster. In the old days before Generation IV, a move's damage category was determined by its type.
♦ Earthquake is a physical STAB-boosted 100-base power Ground-type move that deals a immense amount of damage. ♦ Bonemerang is a physical STAB-boosted 50-base power Ground-type move (hits 2 times in one turn). ♦ Double-Edge is a physical 100-base power Normal-type move (has 1/4 recoil). ♦ Body Slam is a physical 85-base power Normal-type move (30% chance to paralyze the target). ♦ Seismic Toss is a physical 1-base power Fighting-type move (damage = Cubone's level. Can hit ghost types). ♦ Counter is a physical 0-base power Fighting-type move (if hit by physical attack, returns double damage). ♦ Toxic is a status move (badly poisons the target).

Out of the original 151, Cubone was quite something to try to play with in the first generation meta. In the old days before Generation IV, a move's damage category was determined by its type.
♦ Blizzard is a special 120-base power Ice-type move (10% chance to freeze the target). ♦ Ice Beam is a special 95-base power Ice-type move (10% chance to freeze the target). ♦ Bubble Beam is a special 65-base power Water-type move (33% chance to lower the target's speed by 1 stage). ♦ Water Gun is a special 40-base power Water-type move that deals damage. ♦ Toxic is a status move (badly poisons the target). ♦ Substitute is a status move (Cubone takes 1/4 its max hp to put in a substitute).

Note: The damage listed here under Versus is not actually calculated using the in-game damage formula. It is simply calculated using typing weaknesses and resistances from the selected type-matchup modifier along with STAB (if applied) to help sort through and give a general idea as to how powerful certain moves might be towards that selected typing after modifiers are applied. Several moves listed here may have additional effects that might alter actual damage output which are not factored on this specific list. Use damage calculators to find actual damage amounts.
