What is a good competitive moveset for Relicanth? These builds have been optimized for Pokemon competing in Sword/Shield Single Battles. Relicanth is an awesome Water and Rock-typed Pokemon. It's not-uncommon to see Relicanth show up as a Sword/Shield opponent. Relicanth is weak to Electric, Fighting, Grass, and Ground-typed attacks.

Physical Sweeper Relicanth (Swift Swim)
Relicanth is a pretty decent Physical Sweeper for single battles. It attempts to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. Life Orb boosts the power of Relicanth's damaging moves by 1.3x but it then loses 1/10 its max HP immediately after the attack. With Swift Swim, Relicanth's speed is doubled during rainy weather. Zen Headbutt was added to provide additional threat coverage. With a Rindo Berry equipped to it, halves damage taken from a supereffective grass-type attack then the Rindo Berry gets consumed.

◆ Zen Headbutt is a physical 80-base power Psychic-type move (20% chance to make the target flinch).

◆ Rock Slide is a physical STAB-boosted 75-base power Rock-type move (30% chance to make the foes flinch).
◆ Rock Tomb is a physical STAB-boosted 60-base power Rock-type move (100% chance to lower the target's speed by 1 stage).
