Vanillite is a phenomenal Special Sweeper. It is meant to take down the opponent's team with high-damaging special attacks. White Herb will reset Vanillite's negative stat changes once. Throat Spray activates when a Pokemon uses a sound-based move (in this case Hyper Voice or Round) and boosts Vanillite's special attack stat by 2 stages. With Weak Armor, if a physical attack hits Vanillite it's defense is lowered by 1 and it's speed is increased by 2 stages.

Ice Beam is a special STAB-boosted 90-base power Ice-type move (10% chance to freeze the target).
Frost Breath is a special STAB-boosted 60-base power Ice-type move (always results in a critical hit).
