What is a good competitive moveset for Chansey? These builds have been optimized for Pokemon competing in X/Y Single Battles. The movesets and EVs have been specifically calibrated to deal the most amount of damage to the largest group of potentially common opponents and typing threats for the X/Y generation metagame.
Chansey is pretty popular Normal-typed Pokemon. Chansey is not a Pokemon anyone usually expects sees on the battlefield. Chansey can usually be found in the OU tier (Overused). Chansey's only type-related weakness is Fighting.

Special Sweeper Chansey (Natural Cure)
Chansey is a marvelous Special Sweeper. It's primary goal is to take down the opponent's team with high-damaging special attacks. Chansey is not a Pokemon anyone usually expects sees on the battlefield but Eviolite makes it possibly stronger than it's final form. If Eviolite is held by a Pokémon that is not fully evolved, it will raises the Defense and Special Defense of that Pokemon by 50%. Life Orb boosts the power of Chansey's damaging moves by 1.3x but it then loses 1/10 its max HP immediately after the attack. With Natural Cure, Chansey has its major status condition cured when it switches out.
♦ Hyper Beam is a special STAB-boosted 150-base power Normal-type move (Chansey cannot move next turn).
♦ Psychic is a special 90-base power Psychic-type move (10% chance to lower the target's special defense by 1 stage).
♦ Flamethrower is a special 90-base power Fire-type move (10% chance to burn the target).
♦ Ice Beam is a special 90-base power Ice-type move (10% chance to freeze the target).

Doubles Special Sweeper Chansey (Healer)
Chansey is a pretty decent Special Sweeper. It's primary goal is to take down the opponent's team with high-damaging special attacks. Chansey is not a Pokemon anyone usually expects sees on the battlefield but Eviolite changes that. If Eviolite is held by a Pokémon that is not fully evolved, it will raises the Defense and Special Defense of that Pokemon by 50%. Life Orb boosts the power of Chansey's damaging moves by 1.3x but it then loses 1/10 its max HP immediately after the attack. With Healer, 30% chance of curing an adjacent ally's status at the end of each turn.
