Froakie is a spectacular Water-typed Pokemon. Froakie is not a Pokemon anyone usually expects sees on the battlefield. Froakie can be quite a contender in the LC tier (Little Cup). Froakie's only type-related weaknesses are Electric and Grass.

Physical Sweeper Froakie (Protean)
Froakie is an outstanding Physical Sweeper. This moveset attempts to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. Focus Sash helps protect Froakie from being one-shotted and allowing it to atleast use a crucial move when brought out. Choice Band will increase the damage of Froakie's physical moves by 1.5x at the cost of locking you into the first move you pick. With Protean, Froakie's type changes to match the type of the move it is about to use.

♦ Return is a physical 0-base power Normal-type move (max 102 power at maximum happiness).

Life Orb boosts the power of Froakie's damaging moves by 1.3x but it then loses 1/10 its max HP immediately after the attack. With Protean, Froakie's type changes to match the type of the move it is about to use.
