Lunatone is an outstanding Rock and Psychic-typed Pokemon. It's pretty common to find yourself dealing with Lunatone when battling in the 6th generation meta. Lunatone is weak to Bug, Dark, Ghost, Grass, Ground, Steel, and Water-typed attacks.

Special Sweeper Lunatone (Levitate)
Lunatone is a phenomenal Special Sweeper. This moveset is designed to take down the opponent's team with high-damaging special attacks. Choice Specs will increase the damage of Lunatone's special moves by 1.5x but will lock you into the first move you pick. Life Orb boosts the power of Lunatone's damaging moves by 1.3x but it then loses 1/10 its max HP immediately after the attack. With Levitate, Lunatone is immune to ground; gravity/ingrain/smack down/iron ball nullify it.
♦ Psyshock is a special STAB-boosted 80-base power Psychic-type move (damages target based on defense, not special defense).
♦ Moonblast is a special 95-base power Fairy-type move (30% chance to lower the target's special attack by 1 stage).
♦ Ice Beam is a special 90-base power Ice-type move (10% chance to freeze the target).
♦ Earth Power is a special 90-base power Ground-type move (10% chance to lower the target's special defense by 1 stage).

Lunatone is a phenomenal Defensive Trick Room. Focus Sash helps protect Lunatone from being one-shotted and allowing it to atleast use a crucial move when brought out. With Levitate, Lunatone is immune to ground; gravity/ingrain/smack down/iron ball nullify it.
♦ Pain Split is a status move (shares hp of Lunatone and target equally).
♦ Defense Curl is a status move (raises your Lunatone's defense by 1 stage).
♦ Trick Room is a status move (goes last. for 5 turns, turn order is reversed).
Note: This moveset is considered Taunt bait! It is highly recommended you typically have atleast one move that does actual damage!
