Unveil the power of Pineco, a dazzling Pokémon known for its Bug typing! Pineco is not a Pokémon anyone usually expects to see on the battlefield. In the LC tier (Little Cup), it's a fierce competitor. It is weak to Fire, Flying, and Rock-typed attacks. Explore the movesets below to see how Pineco performs in battles.
Species: Pineco Item: Life Orb / Choice Band Ability: Overcoat Nature: Adamant (+Atk, -SpA) EVs: 76 Hp / 252 Atk / 180 SpD Moveset: - Revenge / Double-Edge - Earthquake / Drill Run - Bug Bite / Pin Missile - Rock Slide / Rock Tomb
Physical Sweeper Pineco (Overcoat)
Pineco is a decent Physical Sweeper. It is meant to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. Choice Band will increase the damage of Pineco's physical moves by 1.5x at the cost of locking you into the first move you pick. Life Orb boosts the power of Pineco's damaging moves by 1.3x but it then loses 1/10 its max HP immediately after the attack. With Overcoat, Pineco is immune to powder moves and damage from sandstorm or hail. Revenge was added to provide additional threat coverage.
♦ Revenge is a physical 60-base power Fighting-type move (power doubles if Pineco is damaged by the target). ♦ Double-Edge is a physical 120-base power Normal-type move (has 33% recoil). ♦ Earthquake is a physical 100-base power Ground-type move (hits adjacent pokemon). ♦ Drill Run is a physical 80-base power Ground-type move (high critical hit ratio). ♦ Bug Bite is a physical STAB-boosted 60-base power Bug-type move (Pineco steals and eats the target's berry). ♦ Pin Missile is a physical STAB-boosted 25-base power Bug-type move (hits 2-5 times in one turn). ♦ Rock Slide is a physical 75-base power Rock-type move (30% chance to flinch the foes). ♦ Rock Tomb is a physical 60-base power Rock-type move (100% chance to lower the target's speed by 1 stage).

Several moves listed here may have additional effects that might alter actual damage output which are not factored on this specific list. Use damage calculators to find actual damage amounts.
