What is a good competitive moveset for Pineco? These builds have been optimized for Pokemon competing in Black/White Single Battles. The movesets and EVs have been specifically calibrated to deal the most amount of damage to the largest group of potentially common opponents and typing threats for the Black/White generation metagame.
Pineco is an extraordinary Bug-typed Pokemon. Pineco is not a Pokemon anyone usually expects sees on the battlefield. Pineco can be quite a contender in the LC tier (Little Cup). Pineco is weak to Fire, Flying, and Rock-typed attacks.

Physical Sweeper Pineco (Overcoat)
Pineco is a notable Physical Sweeper. It's designed to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. Pineco is not a Pokemon anyone usually expects sees on the battlefield without an Eviolite attached to it. If Eviolite is held by a Pokémon that is not fully evolved, it will raises the Defense and Special Defense of that Pokemon by 50%. Focus Sash helps protect Pineco from being one-shotted and allowing it to atleast use a crucial move when brought out. Life Orb boosts the power of Pineco's damaging moves by 1.3x but it then loses 1/10 its max HP immediately after the attack. With Overcoat, Pineco is immune to damage from sandstorm or hail. Revenge was added to provide additional threat coverage.

♦ Earthquake is a physical 100-base power Ground-type move (hits adjacent pokemon).
♦ Drill Run is a physical 80-base power Ground-type move (high critical hit ratio).
♦ Bug Bite is a physical STAB-boosted 60-base power Bug-type move (Pineco steals and eats the target's berry).
♦ Rock Slide is a physical 75-base power Rock-type move (30% chance to flinch the foes).
♦ Rollout is a physical 30-base power Rock-type move (power doubles with each hit. repeats for 5 turns).
