Sceptile is an extraordinary Physical Sweeper. It is designed to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. Focus Sash helps protect Sceptile from being one-shotted and allowing it to atleast use a crucial move when brought out. With Unburden, speed is doubled on held item loss; boost is lost if it switches gets new item/ability. Brick Break was added to provide additional threat coverage.
♦ Seed Bomb is a physical STAB-boosted 80-base power Grass-type move that deals a large amount of damage.
♦ Outrage is a physical 120-base power Dragon-type move (lasts 2-3 turns. confuses your Sceptile afterwards).
♦ Dragon Claw is a physical 80-base power Dragon-type move that deals a nice amount of damage.
♦ Brick Break is a physical 75-base power Fighting-type move (destroys screens, unless the target is immune).

♦ Energy Ball is a special STAB-boosted 90-base power Grass-type move (10% chance to lower the target's special defense by 1 stage).
♦ Dragon Pulse is a special 85-base power Dragon-type move that deals a decent amount of damage.
♦ Dragon Breath is a special 60-base power Dragon-type move (30% chance to paralyze the target).
♦ Hyper Beam is a special 150-base power Normal-type move (Sceptile cannot move next turn).
♦ Round is a special 60-base power Normal-type move (power doubles if others used round this turn).

Sceptile is a stupendous Physical Sweeper. It's primary goal is to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. With Unburden, speed is doubled on held item loss; boost is lost if it switches gets new item/ability. Natural Gift is the star of the show here. With Watmel Berry, Natural Gift turns into a 100 bp physical fire attack and doubles Sceptiles speed due to Unburden. Thus, Sceptile becomes very difficult to revenge kill outside of priority (which is sadly quite common). The unfortunate side effect is that Natural Gift is a one off attack so it must be used carefully.
♦ Leaf Blade is a physical STAB-boosted 90-base power Grass-type move (high critical hit ratio).
♦ Rock Slide is a physical 75-base power Rock-type move (30% chance to flinch the foes).
♦ Earthquake is a physical 100-base power Ground-type move (hits adjacent pokemon).
