Slaking is a wonderful Normal-typed Pokemon. It's a usual sight to see Slaking out in the 6th generation battlefield. Slaking's only type-related weakness is Fighting.

Physical Sweeper Slaking
Slaking is an astounding Physical Sweeper. It tries to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. Life Orb boosts the power of Slaking's damaging moves by 1.3x but it then loses 1/10 its max HP immediately after the attack. With Truant, Slaking skips every other turn instead of using a move.
♦ Return is a physical STAB-boosted 0-base power Normal-type move (max 102 power at maximum happiness).
♦ Earthquake is a physical 100-base power Ground-type move (hits adjacent pokemon).
♦ Night Slash is a physical 70-base power Dark-type move (high critical hit ratio).
♦ Sucker Punch is a physical priority-increased 80-base power Dark-type move (usually goes first. fails if target is not attacking).
♦ Shadow Claw is a physical 70-base power Ghost-type move (high critical hit ratio).

Slaking Physical Sweeper (Revenge King)
Slaking is a decent Physical Sweeper. It tries to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. Choice Band will increase the damage of Slaking's physical moves by 1.5x at the cost of locking you into the first move you pick. With Truant, Slaking skips every other turn instead of using a move. Switch in after one of your party members has died and Retaliate for a nasty amount of damage!
♦ Brick Break is a physical 75-base power Fighting-type move (destroys screens, unless the target is immune).
♦ Fire Punch is a physical 75-base power Fire-type move (10% chance to burn the target).
