Lampent is a decent Ghost and Fire-typed Pokemon. Lampent is not a Pokemon anyone usually expects sees on the battlefield. This Pokemon deserves to see more play in the meta. Lampent is weak to Dark, Ghost, Ground, Rock, and Water-typed attacks.

Special Sweeper Lampent (Flash Fire)
Lampent is a spectacular Special Sweeper. It's primary goal is to take down the opponent's team with high-damaging special attacks. White Herb will reset Lampent's negative stat changes once (specifically for when it uses Overheat). Focus Sash helps protect Lampent from being one-shotted and allowing it to atleast use a crucial move when brought out. Life Orb boosts the power of Lampent's damaging moves by 1.3x but it then loses 1/10 its max HP immediately after the attack. With Flash Fire, Lampent's fire attacks do 1.5x damage if hit by one fire move; fire immunity.
