Palkia is an extraordinary Water and Dragon-typed Pokemon. It's almost common to find yourself dealing with Palkia when battling in the 5th generation meta. Palkia is considered strong enough to compete with Uber tiered Pokemon. Palkia's only type-related weakness is Dragon.

Special Sweeper Palkia (Pressure)
Palkia is a legendary Special Sweeper. It is primarily designed to take down the opponent's team with high-damaging special attacks. White Herb will reset Palkia's negative stat changes once (specifically for when it uses Draco Meteor). Life Orb boosts the power of Palkia's damaging moves by 1.3x but it then loses 1/10 its max HP immediately after the attack. With Pressure, if Palkia is the target of a foe's move that move loses one additional pp.
♦ Spacial Rend is a special STAB-boosted 100-base power Dragon-type move (high critical hit ratio).
♦ Surf is a special STAB-boosted 95-base power Water-type move (hits adjacent pokemon. double damage on dive).
♦ Brine is a special STAB-boosted 65-base power Water-type move (power doubles if the target's hp is 50% or less).
♦ Flamethrower is a special 95-base power Fire-type move (10% chance to burn the target).
♦ Ice Beam is a special 95-base power Ice-type move (10% chance to freeze the target).
