The movesets and EVs are designed to maximize damage against common opponents and threats in the Black/White metagame. Check out the expert movesets below to boost your battle performance and dominate your opponents!
Say hello to Swinub, a lit Pokémon that excels with Ice and Ground typing! Swinub is not a Pokémon anyone usually expects to see on the battlefield. It often dominates battles in the LC tier (Little Cup). It is weak to Fighting, Fire, Grass, Steel, and Water-typed attacks. Discover how Swinub excels in battles with the movesets provided below.
Swinub is a remarkable Physical Sweeper. It's primary goal is to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. White Herb will reset Swinub's negative stat changes once (specifically for when it uses Superpower). Focus Sash helps protect Swinub from being one-shotted and allowing it to atleast use a crucial move when brought out. Life Orb boosts the power of Swinub's damaging moves by 1.3x but it then loses 1/10 its max HP immediately after the attack. With Oblivious, Swinub cannot be infatuated. gaining this ability while infatuated cures it. Rock Slide was added to provide additional threat coverage.
♦ Earthquake is a physical STAB-boosted 100-base power Ground-type move (hits adjacent pokemon). ♦ Bulldoze is a physical STAB-boosted 60-base power Ground-type move (100% chance lower adjacent pkmn speed by 1 stage). ♦ Rock Slide is a physical 75-base power Rock-type move (30% chance to flinch the foes). ♦ Double-Edge is a physical 120-base power Normal-type move (has 33% recoil). ♦ Superpower is a physical 120-base power Fighting-type move (lowers your Swinub's attack and defense by 1 stage). ♦ Rock Smash is a physical 40-base power Fighting-type move (50% chance to lower the target's defense by 1 stage). ♦ Icicle Crash is a physical STAB-boosted 85-base power Ice-type move (30% chance to flinch the target). ♦ Avalanche is a physical STAB-boosted 60-base power Ice-type move (power doubles if Swinub is damaged by the target).

Type-matchup: Sort through and determine which moves would best work versus an opponent of the typing you select.
|
Note: The damage listed here under Versus is not actually calculated using the in-game damage formula. It is simply calculated using typing weaknesses and resistances from the selected type-matchup modifier along with STAB (if applied) to help sort through and give a general idea as to how powerful certain moves might be towards that selected typing after modifiers are applied. Several moves listed here may have additional effects that might alter actual damage output which are not factored on this specific list. Use damage calculators to find actual damage amounts.
