Get hyped for Pineco, a stunning Pokémon with Bug typing! Pineco is not a Pokémon anyone usually expects to see on the battlefield. It can be quite a contender in the LC tier (Little Cup). It is weak to Fire, Flying, and Rock-typed attacks. Explore the movesets of Pineco below to understand its battle capabilities.
Species: Pineco Item: Life Orb / Choice Band Ability: Sturdy Nature: Adamant (+Atk, -SpA) EVs: 76 Hp / 252 Atk / 180 SpD Moveset: - Revenge / Double-Edge - Earthquake / Dig - Bug Bite - Rock Slide / Rollout
Physical Sweeper Pineco (Sturdy)
Pineco is a pretty decent Physical Sweeper. It's meant to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. Choice Band will increase the damage of Pineco's physical moves by 1.5x at the cost of locking you into the first move you pick. Life Orb boosts the power of Pineco's damaging moves by 1.3x but it then loses 1/10 its max HP immediately after the attack. With Sturdy, ohko moves fail when used against Pineco. Revenge was added to provide additional threat coverage.
♦ Revenge is a physical 60-base power Fighting-type move (power doubles if Pineco is damaged by the target). ♦ Double-Edge is a physical 120-base power Normal-type move (has 1/3 recoil). ♦ Earthquake is a physical 100-base power Ground-type move (hits adjacent pokemon. power doubles on dig). ♦ Dig is a physical 80-base power Ground-type move (digs underground turn 1, strikes turn 2). ♦ Bug Bite is a physical STAB-boosted 60-base power Bug-type move (Pineco steals and eats the target's berry). ♦ Rock Slide is a physical 75-base power Rock-type move (30% chance to flinch the foes). ♦ Rollout is a physical 30-base power Rock-type move (power doubles with each hit. repeats for 5 turns).

Several moves listed here may have additional effects that might alter actual damage output which are not factored on this specific list. Use damage calculators to find actual damage amounts.
