Elekid is an astounding Electric-typed Pokemon. Elekid is not a Pokemon anyone usually expects sees on the battlefield. There were no known abilities back in the Gold/Silver Pokemon games. Elekid's only type-related weakness is Ground.

Elekid is a marvelous Physical Sweeper. It's primary goal is to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. Focus Sash helps protect Elekid from being one-shotted and allowing it to atleast use a crucial move when brought out.

Return is a physical 0-base power Normal-type move (max 102 power at maximum happiness).
Dizzy Punch is a physical 70-base power Normal-type move (20% chance to confuse the target).
Karate Chop is a physical 50-base power Fighting-type move (high critical hit ratio).
