Say hello to Seel, a magnificent Pokémon that excels with Water typing! Seel is not a Pokémon anyone usually expects to see on the battlefield. It often dominates battles in the LC tier (Little Cup). There were no known abilities back in the Gold/Silver Pokémon games. Its only type-related weaknesses are Electric and Grass. Discover how Seel excels in battles with the movesets provided below.
Seel is a decent Physical Sweeper. It's primary goal is to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. Previously before Generation IV, a move's damage category was determined by its type.
♦ Double-Edge is a physical 120-base power Normal-type move (has 1/4 recoil). ♦ Return is a physical 0-base power Normal-type move (max 102 power at maximum happiness). ♦ Peck is a physical 35-base power Flying-type move that deals damage. ♦ Lick is a physical 20-base power Ghost-type move (30% chance to paralyze the target). ♦ Protect is a status move (prevents moves from affecting your Seel this turn).

Damage Modifiers:
Type-matchup: Sort through and determine which moves would best work versus an opponent of the typing you select.

Note: The damage listed here under Versus is not actually calculated using the in-game damage formula. It is simply calculated using typing weaknesses and resistances from the selected type-matchup modifier along with STAB (if applied) to help sort through and give a general idea as to how powerful certain moves might be towards that selected typing after modifiers are applied. Several moves listed here may have additional effects that might alter actual damage output which are not factored on this specific list. Use damage calculators to find actual damage amounts.
