Deoxys is a spectacular Psychic-typed Pokemon. It's super common to find yourself dealing with Deoxys when battling in the 3rd generation meta. Deoxys is considered strong enough to compete with Uber tiered Pokemon. Deoxys is weak to Bug, Dark, and Ghost-typed attacks.

Deoxys is a legendary Physical Sweeper. It is primarily designed to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. Keep in mind back before Generation IV, a move's damage category was determined by its type. White Herb will reset Deoxys's negative stat changes once (specifically for when it uses Superpower). With Pressure, if Deoxys is the target of a move that move loses one additional pp.

♦ Superpower is a physical 120-base power Fighting-type move (lowers your Deoxys's attack and defense by 1 stage).
♦ Brick Break is a physical 75-base power Fighting-type move (destroys screens, even if the target is immune).
♦ Shadow Ball is a physical 80-base power Ghost-type move (20% chance to lower the target's special defense by 1 stage).
♦ Night Shade is a physical 0-base power Ghost-type move (does damage equal to your Deoxys's level).
