Gulpin is an astounding Physical Sweeper. It's primary goal is to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. Previously before Generation IV, a move's damage category was determined by its type. With Liquid Ooze, Gulpin damages those draining hp from it for as much as they would heal.
♦ Sludge is a physical STAB-boosted 65-base power Poison-type move (30% chance to poison the target).
♦ Double-Edge is a physical 120-base power Normal-type move (has 1/3 recoil).
♦ Frustration is a physical 0-base power Normal-type move (max 102 power at minimum happiness).
♦ Shadow Ball is a physical 80-base power Ghost-type move (20% chance to lower the target's special defense by 1 stage).
♦ Rollout is a physical 30-base power Rock-type move (power doubles with each hit. repeats for 5 turns).
