Chimecho is an outstanding Psychic-typed Pokemon. It's normal to see Chimecho show up as a Sun/Moon opponent. Chimecho is weak to Bug, Dark, and Ghost-typed attacks.

Chimecho is popular Special Sweeper. It tries to take down the opponent's team with high-damaging special attacks. Life Orb boosts the power of Chimecho's damaging moves by 1.3x but it then loses 1/10 its max HP immediately after the attack. With Levitate, Chimecho is immune to ground; gravity/ingrain/smack down/iron ball nullify it. Shadow Ball was added to provide additional threat coverage.

Shadow Ball was added to provide additional threat coverage.
