Physical Sweeper Makuhita (Guts)
Makuhita is pretty popular Physical Sweeper. It's primary goal is to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. Flame Orb will burn Makuhita at the end of the turn which will activate Makuhita's Guts ability. Use Detect or Protect to help guarantee the Orb activates on your first turn. With Guts, if Makuhita is statused its attack is 1.5x; ignores burn halving physical damage. Facade's damage doubles when the user has a status affliction. Combine that with Guts to seriously give Makuhita a sweet boost.
♦ Brick Break is a physical STAB-boosted 75-base power Fighting-type move (destroys screens, unless the target is immune).
♦ Facade is a physical 70-base power Normal-type move (power doubles if Makuhita is burn/poison/paralyzed).

Makuhita is a remarkable Physical Sweeper. It's purpose is to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. Life Orb boosts the power of Makuhita's damaging moves by 1.3x but it then loses 1/10 its max HP immediately after the attack. However, Sheer Force negates the recoil damage from Life Orb while still increasing the damage from both it's ability and the orb making it an amazing item for Makuhita. With Sheer Force, Makuhita's attacks with secondary effects have 1.3x power; nullifies the effects.

If Eviolite is held by a Pokémon that is not fully evolved, it will raises the Defense and Special Defense of that Pokemon by 50%.
