What is a good competitive moveset for Impidimp? These builds have been optimized for Pokemon competing in Sword/Shield Single Battles. The movesets and EVs have been specifically calibrated to deal the most amount of damage to the largest group of potentially common opponents and typing threats for the Sword/Shield generation metagame.
Impidimp is a decent Dark and Fairy-typed Pokemon. Impidimp is not a Pokemon anyone usually expects sees on the battlefield. Impidimp can be quite a contender in the LC tier (Little Cup). Impidimp is weak to Fairy, Poison, and Steel-typed attacks.

Physical Sweeper Impidimp (Prankster)
Impidimp is a fabulous Physical Sweeper for single battles. This moveset attempts to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. Choice Band will increase the damage of Impidimp's physical moves by 1.5x at the cost of locking you into the first move you pick. Life Orb boosts the power of Impidimp's damaging moves by 1.3x but it then loses 1/10 its max HP immediately after the attack. With Prankster, Impidimp's status moves have priority raised by 1 but dark types are immune.
◆ Lash Out is a physical STAB-boosted 75-base power Dark-type move (2x power if your Impidimp had a stat lowered this turn).
◆ Play Rough is a physical STAB-boosted 90-base power Fairy-type move (10% chance to lower the target's attack by 1 stage).
◆ Leech Life is a physical 80-base power Bug-type move (Impidimp recovers 50% of the damage dealt).
◆ Drain Punch is a physical 75-base power Fighting-type move (Impidimp recovers 50% of the damage dealt).

Life Orb boosts the power of Impidimp's damaging moves by 1.3x but it then loses 1/10 its max HP immediately after the attack. With Prankster, Impidimp's status moves have priority raised by 1 but dark types are immune.
