What is a good competitive moveset for Oddish? These builds have been optimized for Pokemon competing in Sword/Shield Single Battles. The movesets and EVs have been specifically calibrated to deal the most amount of damage to the largest group of potentially common opponents and typing threats for the Sword/Shield generation metagame.
Oddish is an interesting Grass and Poison-typed Pokemon. Oddish is not a Pokemon anyone usually expects sees on the battlefield. Oddish can be quite a contender in the LC tier (Little Cup). Oddish is weak to Fire, Flying, Ice, and Psychic-typed attacks.

Special Sweeper Oddish (Chlorophyll)
Oddish is a phenomenal Special Sweeper for single battles. It's designed to take down the opponent's team with high-damaging special attacks. Throat Spray activates when a Pokemon uses a sound-based move (in this case Round or Snore) and increases Oddish's special attack stat by 2 stages. Life Orb boosts the power of Oddish's damaging moves by 1.3x but it then loses 1/10 its max HP immediately after the attack. With Chlorophyll, Oddish's speed is doubled during sunny weather.

◆ Sludge Bomb is a special STAB-boosted 90-base power Poison-type move (30% chance to poison the target).
◆ Venoshock is a special STAB-boosted 65-base power Poison-type move (power doubles if the target is poisoned).
◆ Moonblast is a special 95-base power Fairy-type move (30% chance to lower the target's special attack by 1 stage).
◆ Dazzling Gleam is a special 80-base power Fairy-type move (no additional effect. Hits adjacent foes).
◆ Round is a special 60-base power Normal-type move (power doubles if others used round this turn).
