Physical Sweeper Shelmet (Hydration)
Shelmet is an astounding Physical Sweeper for single battles. It's designed to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. Life Orb boosts the power of Shelmet's damaging moves by 1.3x but it then loses 1/10 its max HP immediately after the attack. The Shell Bell item option is to help Shelmet recover from the recoil damage it may take from Double-Edge. With Hydration, Shelmet has its status cured at the end of each turn if rain dance is active.

◆ Leech Life is a physical STAB-boosted 80-base power Bug-type move (Shelmet recovers 50% of the damage dealt).
◆ Skitter Smack is a physical STAB-boosted 70-base power Bug-type move (100% chance to lower target's special attack by 1 stage).
◆ Recover is a status move (heals your Shelmet by 50% of its max hp).

Shelmet is a fabulous Special Sweeper for single battles. It's primary goal is to take down the opponent's team with high-damaging special attacks. Throat Spray activates when a Pokemon uses a sound-based move (in this case Bug Buzz or Round) and boosts Shelmet's special attack stat by 2 stages. Life Orb boosts the power of Shelmet's damaging moves by 1.3x but it then loses 1/10 its max HP immediately after the attack. With Hydration, Shelmet has its status cured at the end of each turn if rain dance is active.
