Shelmet is a pretty decent Bug-typed Pokemon. Shelmet is not a Pokemon anyone usually expects sees on the battlefield. Shelmet can be quite a contender in the LC tier (Little Cup). Shelmet is weak to Fire, Flying, and Rock-typed attacks.

Physical Sweeper Shelmet (Hydration)
Shelmet is a sensational Physical Sweeper. This moveset is designed to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. Life Orb boosts the power of Shelmet's damaging moves by 1.3x but it then loses 1/10 its max HP immediately after the attack. With Hydration, Shelmet has its status cured at the end of each turn if rain dance is active.
♦ Return is a physical 0-base power Normal-type move (max 102 power at maximum happiness).
♦ Bug Bite is a physical STAB-boosted 60-base power Bug-type move (Shelmet steals and eats the target's berry).
♦ Leech Life is a physical STAB-boosted 20-base power Bug-type move (Shelmet recovers 50% of the damage dealt).
♦ Pursuit is a physical 40-base power Dark-type move (power doubles if a foe is switching out).
♦ Recover is a status move (heals your Shelmet by 50% of its max hp).

Life Orb boosts the power of Shelmet's damaging moves by 1.3x but it then loses 1/10 its max HP immediately after the attack. With Hydration, Shelmet has its status cured at the end of each turn if rain dance is active.
