Latios is a fabulous Dragon and Psychic-typed Pokemon. It's common to find yourself dealing with Latios when battling in the 6th generation meta. Latios can usually be found in the OU tier (Overused). Latios is weak to Bug, Dark, Dragon, Fairy, Ghost, and Ice-typed attacks.

Special Sweeper Latios-Mega (Levitate)
Latios is a legendary Special Sweeper for single battles. It attempts to take down the opponent's team with high-damaging special attacks. With Levitate, Latios is immune to damaging Ground-typed moves (except Thousand Arrows). Levitate also makes Latios unaffected by the effects of Spikes, Arena Trap, Toxic Spikes, Sticky Web, Rototiller or terrain effects. Keep in mind that Ingrain, Gravity, Smack down and the Iron ball item will nullify Levitate's effect. With a Latiosite equipped to it, if held by a latios, this item allows it to mega evolve in battle.
◆ Dragon Pulse is a special STAB-boosted 85-base power Dragon-type move that deals a decent amount of damage.
◆ Psychic is a special STAB-boosted 90-base power Psychic-type move (10% chance to lower the target's special defense by 1 stage).
◆ Psyshock is a special STAB-boosted 80-base power Psychic-type move (damages target based on defense, not special defense).
◆ Surf is a special 90-base power Water-type move (hits adjacent pokemon. Double damage on dive).
◆ Ice Beam is a special 90-base power Ice-type move (10% chance to freeze the target).
