Oshawott is a decent Water-typed Pokemon. Oshawott is not a Pokemon anyone usually expects sees on the battlefield. Oshawott can be quite a contender in the LC tier (Little Cup). Oshawott's only type-related weaknesses are Electric and Grass.

Physical Sweeper Oshawott (Shell Armor)
Oshawott is a marvelous Physical Sweeper. It's primary goal is to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. Choice Band will increase the damage of Oshawott's physical moves by 1.5x at the cost of locking you into the first move you pick. Life Orb boosts the power of Oshawott's damaging moves by 1.3x but it then loses 1/10 its max HP immediately after the attack. With Shell Armor, Oshawott cannot be struck by a critical hit.
♦ Waterfall is a physical STAB-boosted 80-base power Water-type move (20% chance to flinch the target).
♦ Return is a physical 0-base power Normal-type move (max 102 power at maximum happiness).
♦ Retaliate is a physical 70-base power Normal-type move (power doubles if an ally fainted last turn).
♦ Night Slash is a physical 70-base power Dark-type move (high critical hit ratio).
♦ Assurance is a physical 60-base power Dark-type move (power doubles if target was damaged this turn).
♦ X-Scissor is a physical 80-base power Bug-type move that deals a considerable amount of damage.
♦ Fury Cutter is a physical 40-base power Bug-type move (power doubles with each hit, up to 160).
