What is a good competitive moveset for Ralts? These builds have been optimized for Pokemon competing in X/Y Single Battles. The movesets and EVs have been specifically calibrated to deal the most amount of damage to the largest group of potentially common opponents and typing threats for the X/Y generation metagame.
Ralts is an astounding Psychic and Fairy-typed Pokemon. Ralts is not a Pokemon anyone usually expects sees on the battlefield. Ralts can be quite a contender in the LC tier (Little Cup). Ralts is weak to Ghost, Poison, and Steel-typed attacks.

Special Sweeper Ralts (Synchronize)
Ralts is an extraordinary Special Sweeper. It's goal is to take down the opponent's team with high-damaging special attacks. Choice Specs will increase the damage of Ralts's special moves by 1.5x but will lock you into the first move you pick. Life Orb boosts the power of Ralts's damaging moves by 1.3x but it then loses 1/10 its max HP immediately after the attack. With Synchronize, if another pokemon burns/poisons/paralyzes Ralts it also gets that status.
♦ Psychic is a special STAB-boosted 90-base power Psychic-type move (10% chance to lower the target's special defense by 1 stage).
♦ Dazzling Gleam is a special STAB-boosted 80-base power Fairy-type move (no additional effect. hits adjacent foes).
♦ Draining Kiss is a special STAB-boosted 50-base power Fairy-type move (Ralts recovers 75% of the damage dealt).
♦ Thunderbolt is a special 90-base power Electric-type move (10% chance to paralyze the target).
♦ Hyper Voice is a special 90-base power Normal-type move (no additional effect. hits adjacent foes).
♦ Round is a special 60-base power Normal-type move (power doubles if others used round this turn).

Defensive Trick Room Ralts (Synchronize)
Ralts is a fabulous Defensive Trick Room. Focus Sash helps protect Ralts from being one-shotted and allowing it to atleast use a crucial move when brought out. With Synchronize, if another pokemon burns/poisons/paralyzes Ralts it also gets that status.
♦ Pain Split is a status move (shares hp of Ralts and target equally).
♦ Defense Curl is a status move (raises your Ralts's defense by 1 stage).
♦ Trick Room is a status move (goes last. for 5 turns, turn order is reversed).
Note: This moveset is considered Taunt bait! It is highly recommended you typically have atleast one move that does actual damage!
