Solosis is an outstanding Special Sweeper. This moveset attempts to take down the opponent's team with high-damaging special attacks. Choice Specs will increase the damage of Solosis's special moves by 1.5x but will lock you into the first move you pick. Life Orb boosts the power of Solosis's damaging moves by 1.3x but it then loses 1/10 its max HP immediately after the attack. However, Magic Guard negates the recoil damage from Life Orb while still increasing the damage making it an amazing item for Solosis. With Magic Guard, Solosis can only be damaged by direct attacks.
