Yveltal is a fabulous Dark and Flying-typed Pokemon. Yveltal is a not-uncommon Pokemon to see in Generation 6. Yveltal is considered strong enough to compete with Uber tiered Pokemon. Yveltal is weak to Electric, Fairy, Ice, and Rock-typed attacks.

Yveltal is a legendary Physical Sweeper. It was designed to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. Choice Band will increase the damage of Yveltal's physical moves by 1.5x at the cost of locking you into the first move you pick. Life Orb boosts the power of Yveltal's damaging moves by 1.3x but it then loses 1/10 its max HP immediately after the attack. With Dark Aura, while Yveltal is active a dark move used by any pokemon has 1.33x power.
♦ Sucker Punch is a physical STAB-boosted priority-increased 80-base power Dark-type move (usually goes first. fails if target is not attacking).
♦ Sky Attack is a physical STAB-boosted 140-base power Flying-type move (charges, then hits turn 2. 30% flinch. high crit).
♦ Sky Drop is a physical STAB-boosted 60-base power Flying-type move (Yveltal and foe fly up turn 1. damages on turn 2).
♦ Return is a physical 0-base power Normal-type move (max 102 power at maximum happiness).
