What is a good competitive moveset for Bagon? These builds have been optimized for Pokemon competing in Black/White Single Battles. The movesets and EVs have been specifically calibrated to deal the most amount of damage to the largest group of potentially common opponents and typing threats for the Black/White generation metagame.
Bagon is a fabulous Dragon-typed Pokemon. Bagon is not a Pokemon anyone usually expects sees on the battlefield. Bagon can be quite a contender in the LC tier (Little Cup). Bagon's only type-related weaknesses are Dragon and Ice.

Physical Sweeper Bagon (Rock Head)
Bagon is a stupendous Physical Sweeper. It is designed to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. Focus Sash helps protect Bagon from being one-shotted and allowing it to atleast use a crucial move when brought out. Life Orb boosts the power of Bagon's damaging moves by 1.3x but it then loses 1/10 its max HP immediately after the attack. With Rock Head, Bagon does not take recoil damage besides struggle/life orb/crash damage. Rock Slide was added to provide additional threat coverage.
♦ Dragon Claw is a physical STAB-boosted 80-base power Dragon-type move that deals a mighty amount of damage.
♦ Rock Slide is a physical 75-base power Rock-type move (30% chance to flinch the foes).
♦ Double-Edge is a physical 120-base power Normal-type move (has 33% recoil).
♦ Crunch is a physical 80-base power Dark-type move (20% chance to lower the target's defense by 1 stage).
♦ Brick Break is a physical 75-base power Fighting-type move (destroys screens, unless the target is immune).

Bagon Physical Tank (Defense)
Bagon is an extraordinary Physical Tank. It's primary goal is to take a nice amount of physical hits while dealing some decent damage. Bagon is not a Pokemon anyone usually expects sees on the battlefield until Eviolite was equipped. If Eviolite is held by a Pokémon that is not fully evolved, it will raises the Defense and Special Defense of that Pokemon by 50%. With Rock Head, Bagon does not take recoil damage besides struggle/life orb/crash damage.
♦ Outrage is a physical STAB-boosted 120-base power Dragon-type move (lasts 2-3 turns. confuses your Bagon afterwards).
♦ Rock Slide is a physical 75-base power Rock-type move (30% chance to flinch the foes).
♦ Roar is a status move (forces the target to switch to a random ally).
