Jynx is a pretty decent Ice and Psychic-typed Pokemon. It's pretty standard to find yourself dealing with Jynx when battling in the 5th generation meta. Jynx is weak to Bug, Dark, Fire, Ghost, Rock, and Steel-typed attacks.

Focus Sash helps protect Jynx from being one-shotted and allowing it to atleast use a crucial move when brought out. Life Orb boosts the power of Jynx's damaging moves by 1.3x but it then loses 1/10 its max HP immediately after the attack. With Dry Skin, Jynx is healed 1/4 by water 1/8 by rain; is hurt 1.25x by fire 1/8 by sun. Shadow Ball or Signal Beam are added to provide additional threat coverage.
♦ Icy Wind is a special STAB-boosted 55-base power Ice-type move (100% chance to lower the foes speed by 1 stage).
♦ Psychic is a special STAB-boosted 90-base power Psychic-type move (10% chance to lower the target's special defense by 1 stage).
