Wailord is a pretty decent Water-typed Pokemon. It's frequent to find yourself dealing with Wailord when battling in the 5th generation meta. This Pokemon deserves to see more play in the meta. Wailord's only type-related weaknesses are Electric and Grass.

Wailord is a sensational Special Tank. It's primary goal is to take a substantial amount of hits from special attacks while dealing some decent damage. With Pressure, if Wailord is the target of a foe's move that move loses one additional pp. This Pokemon is a very good option to use during Trick Room situations due to it's super slow speed stat.
