Prepare for battle with Zubat, a sick Pokémon boasting Poison and Flying attributes. Zubat is not a Pokémon anyone usually expects to see on the battlefield. The LC tier (Little Cup) is where it shines. There were no known abilities or equippable items back in the Red/Blue Pokémon games. It is weak to Electric, Normal, Psychic, and Rock-typed attacks. Check out the movesets listed below to learn more about Zubat's strategies.
Zubat is an interesting Physical Sweeper in single battles. It is primarily designed to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. The original Red/Blue Pokemon had alot to deal with on the battle field. In the dark days prior to Generation IV, a move's damage category was determined by its type.
♦ Double-Edge is a physical 100-base power Normal-type move (has 1/4 recoil). ♦ Bite is a physical 60-base power Normal-type move (10% chance to flinch the target). ♦ Wing Attack is a physical STAB-boosted 35-base power Flying-type move that deals damage. ♦ Leech Life is a physical 20-base power Bug-type move (Zubat recovers 50% of the damage dealt). ♦ Toxic is a status move (badly poisons the target).

Note: The damage listed here under Versus is not actually calculated using the in-game damage formula. It is simply calculated using typing weaknesses and resistances from the selected type-matchup modifier along with STAB (if applied) to help sort through and give a general idea as to how powerful certain moves might be towards that selected typing after modifiers are applied. Several moves listed here may have additional effects that might alter actual damage output which are not factored on this specific list. Use damage calculators to find actual damage amounts.
