Physical Sweeper Clamperl (Shell Armor)

Clamperl is an outstanding Physical Sweeper. It attempts to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. Remember prior to Generation IV, a move's damage category was determined by its type. Clamperl is not a Pokemon anyone usually expects sees on the battlefield until equipping Eviolite became the goto option. If Eviolite is held by a Pokémon that is not fully evolved, it will raises the Defense and Special Defense of that Pokemon by 50%. Focus Sash helps protect Clamperl from being one-shotted and allowing it to atleast use a crucial move when brought out. Life Orb boosts the power of Clamperl's damaging moves by 1.3x but it then loses 1/10 its max HP immediately after the attack. With Shell Armor, Clamperl cannot be struck by a critical hit.

Double-Edge is a physical 120-base power Normal-type move (has 1/3 recoil).
Return is a physical 0-base power Normal-type move (max 102 power at maximum happiness).
Barrier is a status move (raises your Clamperl's defense by 2 stages).
Toxic is a status move (badly poisons the target).

In the old days before Generation IV, a move's damage category was determined by its type. Clamperl is not a Pokemon anyone usually expects sees on the battlefield until Eviolte was added to the mix. If Eviolite is held by a Pokémon that is not fully evolved, it will raises the Defense and Special Defense of that Pokemon by 50%. Focus Sash helps protect Clamperl from being one-shotted and allowing it to atleast use a crucial move when brought out. Clamperl Special Wall (Battle Factory Shell)

Clamperl is a sensational Special Wall. This moveset is designed to take a considerable amount of hits from special attacks while dealing some decent damage. With Shell Armor, Clamperl cannot be struck by a critical hit. This Clampearl was first found by me in the Emerald Battle Factory. Whenever available, I chose it to annoy the enemy and never lost with it. Probably because the CPU wasn't as clever back then.

Iron Defense is a status move (raises your Clamperl's defense by 2 stages).
Confuse Ray is a status move (confuses the target).
Double Team is a status move (raises your Clamperl's evasiveness by 1 stage).

Note: This moveset is considered Taunt bait! It is highly recommended you typically have atleast one move that does actual damage!
