Meet Wimpod, the phenomenal Pokémon of Bug and Water types! Wimpod is not a Pokémon anyone usually expects to see on the battlefield. It can be quite a contender in the LC tier (Little Cup). It is weak to Electric, Flying, and Rock-typed attacks. Explore the movesets below to see how Wimpod performs in battles.
Species: Wimpod Item: Buginium Z / Life Orb Ability: Wimp Out Nature: Adamant (+Atk, -SpA) EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Moveset: - Leech Life - Waterfall / Aqua Jet - Return / Facade - Metal Claw
Physical Sweeper Wimpod (Wimp Out)
Wimpod is a sensational Physical Sweeper. It's goal is to take down the opponent's team with brute physical power. Life Orb boosts the power of Wimpod's damaging moves by 1.3x but it then loses 1/10 its max HP immediately after the attack. With Wimp Out, Wimpod switches out when it reaches 1/2 or less of its maximum hp. Facade's damage doubles when the user has a status affliction.
♦ Leech Life is a physical STAB-boosted 80-base power Bug-type move (Wimpod recovers 50% of the damage dealt). ♦ Waterfall is a physical STAB-boosted 80-base power Water-type move (20% chance to flinch the target). ♦ Aqua Jet is a physical STAB-boosted priority-increased 40-base power Water-type move (usually goes first). ♦ Return is a physical 0-base power Normal-type move (max 102 power at maximum happiness). ♦ Facade is a physical 70-base power Normal-type move (power doubles if Wimpod is burn/poison/paralyzed). ♦ Metal Claw is a physical 50-base power Steel-type move (10% chance to raise your Wimpod's attack by 1 stage).

It is simply calculated using typing weaknesses and resistances from the selected type-matchup modifier along with STAB (if applied) to help sort through and give a general idea as to how powerful certain moves might be towards that selected typing after modifiers are applied. Several moves listed here may have additional effects that might alter actual damage output which are not factored on this specific list. Use damage calculators to find actual damage amounts.
